The Cultural Rucksack programme and grant, The Cultural Rucksack in Kristiansand seeks producers.

 

The Cultural Rucksack and the Artist in Residence programme in Kristiansand have signed an agreement of cooperation. The agreement implies that the Cultural Rucksack is open for applications from professional national and international artists, preferably fine artist and craft artist who are interested in carrying out art projects within the schools of Kristiansand simoultaneously as they are visiting the city as Artist in Residence.
The cultural rucksack is a national programme for art and culture provided by professional artists in Norwegian schools. The programme enables all school pupils in Norway to be acquainted with all kinds of professional art and cultural expressions. The different art projects can be conveyed in any number of ways.

 

The objectives of the programme are:
To enable children and young people in primary and secondary school to enjoy artistic and cultural productions by professionals.
To facilitate the pupils´access to a wide range of cultural expressions, so that they can become acquainted with and develop an understanding of culture in all its forms.
To assist schools in integrating different forms of cultural expressions with their own efforts to attain learning goals.

 

Budget
For the spring term of 2012 the grant for the project carried out by a guest artist in schools in Kristiansand is up to NOK 30 000, depending on the individual project. The city of Kristiansand will cover the costs of bus transportation for the pupils and possibly the rental of premises outside of the schools. For international artists the project must be fit to accomodate pupils in the 10th grade. They are 15 and 16 years of age. Any lecturing should be held in english.

 

Application
Artists who wish to contribute as a producer to The Cultural Rucksack should send a thorough description with details on how the procurement of the project is to be adapted to the pupils. The application must also contain a project budget, time schedule, artist statement, cv and no more than 10 low resolution pictures. Please do not send original work, as we do not return the applications. All applicants must apply through the artist in residence programme.

Den kulturelle skolesekken i Kristiansand søker produsenter.

 

Den kulturelle skolesekken har inngått samarbeidsavtale med Artist in Residence ordningen til Kristiansand kommune.
Avtalen innebærer at Den Kulturelle Skolesekken åpner opp for søknader fra profesjonelle nasjonale og internasjonale kunstnere (fortrinnsvis billedkunstnere og kunsthåndverkere) som ønsker å gjennomføre et kunstnerisk prosjekt sammen med elever på 10. trinn i Kristiansand mens de er Artist in Residence i byen.
Den kulturelle skolesekken utgjør kjernen i den norske regjeringens kulturpolitikk for barn og unge.  Den gir gratis møter med profesjonell kunst og kultur til alle skoleelever i landet.
Gjennom ordningen får skoleelever muligheten til å oppleve; musikk, teater, film, visuell kunst, litteratur, kulturarv, m.m. Formidlingsformene er mange, avhengig av uttrykket til den enkelte kunstner/produsent.

 

Målene for Den kulturelle skolesekken:
Å medvirke til at elever får et profesjonelt kunst- og kulturtilbud.
Å legge til rette for at elever i skolen lettere skal få tilgang til, gjøre seg kjent med og utvikle forståelse for kulturuttrykk av alle slag.
Å medvirke til å utvikle en helhetlig innlemming av kunstneriske og kulturelle uttrykk i realiseringa av læringsmål.
Honorar
For vårsemesteret 2012 er det satt av et honorar på opptil 30 000 NOK, avhengig av det enkelte prosjekt. Honoraret skal dekke gjennomføring av prosjektet samt materialer og utstyr. Kristiansand kommune dekker busstransport for elevene dersom produksjonen finner sted utenfor skolen og eventuelt leie av enkelte lokaler utenfor skolene.

 

Søknad
Kunstnere som ønsker å delta med produksjon for Den kulturelle skolesekken må levere utførlig prosjektbeskrivelse samt beskrivelse av hvordan produksjonen skal tilpasses elevene på 10. trinn. Det må også leveres budsjett, tidsplan samt CV og lavoppløselig billedmateriale max 10 bilder. Vennligst ikke send originale arbeider da vi ikke returnerer søknader. Alle søkere må søke gjennom Artist in Residence ordningen.
